I am planning on a cruise to the Caribbean with the rest of my family over Christmas vacation, and I was wondering whether or not I will need a passport. We would be leaving from Fort Lauderdale, FL and cruising the Caribbean for 5 days, and returning to FL.

Ok, it is the first time my family has even thought about a cruise. We are a family of 5, 2 people 17 and younger, and 3 people 18 and older. I was looking on line, and I found a 5-day eastern Caribbean carnival destiny cruise. I checked Royal Caribbean, but the max # of people was 4 per room, and adding another room was way to much. On 3 websites, i found $2,500 for July 27, for all of us. Is it a good deal, for 1 inside room, for 5 people, leaving from the Miami port? Can I find it for less anywhere? Is 1 inside room good for 2 parents, 1 ‘young adult’ and 2 teens? Is it to small? What extra costs are there on the Destiny ship? Thanks In Advance

I know in Europe, 18 is the drinking age but they are very lenient in most places and don’t card. Would it be the same on a cruise? (in the east mediterranean, from italy to greece to turkey to croatia) What would be the consequences of underage drinking? I’ll be 16, and I’m not planning to get drunk or anything, just have a drink or 2. I’m from the US, and the cruise brochure says usually less than 50% of people on the cruise will be from the US. if you suggest something other than royal caribbean, which cruise line and specific ship?

My husband and I are going on a 14 day cruise to the southern caribbean which includes the islands of st.lucia.antigua,st kitts,tortola,montego bay jam,grand cayman, aruba,bonaire,caracus venez, and grenada. Has anyone been to these islands? What is the best thing to do? beach,hiking or shopping? Any worries about safety? Any advice would be great. Please let me know the good or the bad exp. you had on any of these destinations.
