I know I brought Vodka in my luggage a few years ago on a Royal Caribbean cruise but can you bring it on a Carnival one? I know the website says no but has anyone done it? Thanks.

If it says no then don’t bring it. You could seriously get into huge trouble. If you are caught with alcohol in Saudi Arabia they kill you. There are also huge fines with some countries and customs systems. JUST LIVE WITHOUT ALCOHOL.
The good news is you can try……………..The bad news is you will more than likely get caught…………..Post 911…………The cruise lines are very dedicated to checking your bags………….If they find any alcohol they will take it and keep it until the end of the cruise!! They will give it back to you……You will have to spend some time standing around and waiting while they check your luggage out!
I just got back from a carnival cruise and yes. I went to the Bahamas and I got a bottle of rum put in my beach bag and they didn’t say anything about it. I would buy it where ever you are going rather than bring it from home. B/C I’m not sure how it works when you get on the ship. and as far as bringing it home you can bring up to a Liter a person on the plane. Just not in your carry on. Have fun and enjoy yourself. and if its vodka just put it in a water bottle if you want to bring it from home.
I am going on a Carnival cruise soon. I was talking to someone today who told me she put it in a pop bottle in her luggage and had no problem. i know you can by tops for pop bottles from brewing stores that are sealed so its hard to tell it is not an unopened bottle of pop.
Maybe you could, but is it worth the risk. You are violating their policies and they have the right to put off the ship if you are caught. Most likely though they would take it away from you if caught.
yeah we just back from cruise n uu can but better buy in island then enter cruise they wont said any thing puls we r teenager about 13-15
You are allowed to bring a wine on board with you. My advice is to bring a small box of wine and let that do you. Don’t mess up your vacation. I brought a box of sangria on board with me and they didn’t say anything because the rules are you can bring one bottle per person. I brought box because it was more convenient. It’s not the best tasting wine, but it is good enough.
ENJOY!!! HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE CRUISING!!!!
I have taken 5 cruises on Carnival, taking my 6th tomorrow. We have always taken alcohol on board. If you are traveling as a couple you can easily rack up a $100 per day bar tab, without ever getting hammered. For wine drinkers: Go to Target, they sell good quality wines (no not Franzia) for around $27 per box, which contain the equivalent of 4 bottles. Pack a couple in your checked in bags. We have done it before no problems. We also usually pack a bottle of vodka and white rum in the large Dasani bottles. Again, never a problem. We even go so far as to bring our own nice-styled polycarbon wine glasses and bring them in the dining room with us. Never been charged a corkage fee or said anything to. Other than the crew usually comment that they are nicer looking glasses than what they have. You will end up buying some drinks when you want a frozen daquiri or a cold beer. But supplementing your alcohol stash will save you hundreds of dollars that you can blow on sovenirs or in the casino, lol!
Ditto Bram Slam, we have been on approximately 8 Carnival Cruises. We take vodka everytime in water bottles. Carry on Champagne and/or Wine. Mimosa’s are great with OJ from the buffet area. We bring Crystal Light packets for mixers. Don’t forget to bring a large insulated tumbler with lid for poolside. We take them everywhere, dinner, dancing…..Royal Caribbean not so easy, our liquor made it but other friends didn’t. Our first cruise the bellhop told us to bring liquor everytime they won’t say a word. SO FAR SO GOOD…
