Both have the same itinerary as well. I don’t know where to port out of, as both places have convenient times.
Do you recommend those locations or should I try a whole new cruise?
Never been to Cozumel but have been to Costa Maya. Costa Maya isn’t really a place, meaning it’s not on a map. It’s a pier the cruise lines built when Cozumel was wiped out by the hurricanes. At the pier there is a tourist center. It’s really nice. Lot’s of shopping and bargaining, and a huge salt water pool. You can swim on the beach as it’s all rocks. We took the Beach Break excursion. It was a really nice beach but was a 20 minute ride up the road. You could spend the entire day at the tourist center, but there’s not really anything to do outside the gates. DO NOT drink tequila with the locals!!
