Becca asked:

Ok, it is the first time my family has even thought about a cruise. We are a family of 5, 2 people 17 and younger, and 3 people 18 and older. I was looking on line, and I found a 5-day eastern Caribbean carnival destiny cruise. I checked Royal Caribbean, but the max # of people was 4 per room, and adding another room was way to much. On 3 websites, i found $2,500 for July 27, for all of us. Is it a good deal, for 1 inside room, for 5 people, leaving from the Miami port? Can I find it for less anywhere? Is 1 inside room good for 2 parents, 1 ‘young adult’ and 2 teens? Is it to small? What extra costs are there on the Destiny ship? Thanks In Advance

I know I brought vodka in my luggage a few years ago on a Royal Carribean cruise but can you bring it on a Carnival one? I know the website says no but has anyone done it? Thanks.

I am so wanting to find a waiter named Enver, that is from Croatia, that is now on carnival Cruise Inspiration. He will be leaving the ship next week and my family wants to get in touch with him. He found a special place in our hearts.

I am going on a cruise in the next few months and will be calling Carnival directly about booking (along with talking to TAs and searching online). Obviously, I would like the best deal possible. What is the best way to go about asking for a better deal that what Carnival offers on their website (or deals offered on rival travel websites)? Anyone know of any tips/tricks that have worked other than playing them off one another? If anyone had good experiences with a Carnival rep, please feel free to pass along their name! :)

Not sure if I will buy any souvenirs while at port
Have no excursions planned
May do a spa treament (massage)

Given that info, how much money should I alot for the trip?
Thanks for any advice.

We have a cruise already booked and deposit down for April 08. We just received an email saying they have added on a fuel surcharge of $70. Did anyone else get this?

We bought a 200 gift card that can be used on any carnival Cruise line and there partners. I think that the Holland line is part but I want to know all of them. I know that RCCL is NOT a part
